Frameless Glass Wall Systems

Outdoor Glass

Turn your pergola into a four-season room.

Four frameless glass wall systems — sliding, folding, pivot, and vertical — designed to enclose covered outdoor structures without sacrificing light, views, or the feeling of being outside.

Glass walls that disappear when you want them to.

Frameless glass operable wall systems close the gap between covered outdoor structures and usable, all-season rooms. Whether you're enclosing an R-BLADE pergola for winter, screening a patio from coastal wind, or adding privacy to a rooftop — there's a glass system built for your opening.

  • Glass

    10mm tempered, single-pane

Four to five times stronger than standard float glass. Safety-rated.

  • Frame

    Extruded aluminum

Minimal profile — maximum glass area and unobstructed sightlines.

  • Seals

    75% clarity weather seals

Block wind-driven rain and air infiltration without darkening the space.

  • Finishes

    Powder coat or anodized

Matches the full pergola palette — white, black, gray, wood grain, custom.

  • Systems

    4 operable configurations

GLIDE, ClearFOLD, ClearPIVOT, Vertaslide — one for every opening type.

  • Install

    Compatible with all pergola types

No secondary framing needed — integrates directly with the existing structure.

Four ways to enclose your space.

Each system opens differently. The right choice depends on your opening width, architectural preference, and how often you want the glass out of the way.

GLIDE frameless multi-slide glass wall

Frameless Multi-Slide

GLIDE

Panels slide on parallel tracks, stack to one end.

The most versatile sliding wall system — panels glide along 2 to 5 parallel tracks and stack neatly to open the full span. Large-format panels, patented retention system, transparent weather seals. Ideal for wide pergola openings where maximum glass area is the priority.

  • → 2 to 5 parallel tracks
  • → Bi-part or one-way operation
  • → 10mm tempered glass panels
  • → Patented panel retention system
Best for: large openings
ClearFOLD frameless folding glass wall

Frameless Folding

ClearFOLD

Panels fold and stack flush against the frame.

Folding panels accordion to one or both sides, creating a completely open aperture with no visible tracks in the center. Top-hung or bottom-rolling operation for smooth, effortless movement. Space-efficient when open — a natural choice for areas where panels sliding out into the room isn't an option.

  • → Top-hung or bottom-rolling
  • → Accordion to one or both sides
  • → Multiple glass types and hardware
  • → Full clear opening when stacked
Best for: corner openings
ClearPIVOT frameless slide and pivot glass wall

Frameless Slide & Pivot

ClearPIVOT

Panels slide then pivot 90° — maximum access.

A bottom-rolling floor-supported system: panels slide along the track then pivot flat against the wall to open the full width. Patented technology handles structural deflections up to 20mm. Anti-lifting safety mechanism built in. 2 to 7 panels per run with optional side door panel. Adjustable floor channels for uneven surfaces.

  • → Bottom-rolling, floor-supported
  • → Handles up to 20mm deflection
  • → 2 to 7 panels per opening
  • → Anti-lifting safety mechanism
Best for: high-traffic openings
Vertaslide vertically operable glass wall

Vertically Operable

Vertaslide

Panels raise and lower at the press of a button.

A motorized vertical system: panels lower from the top to close the space and raise to stack flush at the top beam when open. Minimal 2-inch aluminum frame maximizes transparency. Side-supported with a flush sill — no threshold to step over. Integrated safety sensors. Configurable as a full-height wall or railing-height screen.

  • → Motorized, single-button control
  • → 2-inch minimal aluminum frame
  • → Flush sill — no step threshold
  • → Integrated safety sensors
Best for: railing applications

Engineered for outdoor conditions.

Every system in the glass collection shares the same core engineering — built for weather, transparency, and clean integration with covered structures.

Frameless glass sliding wall on a residential outdoor covered space

Open air. Closed in. Your call.

Glass walls give your covered outdoor space a second mode: fully open on warm evenings, fully enclosed when temperatures drop or coastal wind picks up. No seasonal teardown, no fabric awnings — just glass that moves on demand.

  • Year-round use

Extend the season by months. Enclose in winter, open in summer — the structure stays in place.

  • Wind & rain barrier

Transparent seals reduce air infiltration and block wind-driven rain without darkening the space.

  • Unobstructed views

10mm tempered glass with minimal frame profile keeps sightlines clean whether panels are open or closed.

  • Privacy on demand

Close the glass for a private outdoor dining room. Open it fully for parties — zero visual footprint.

  • Pergola-matched finishes

Aluminum frame finishes match the pergola system — specify the same color for a seamless build.

  • Commercial-grade hardware

Smooth-running tracks and patented retention systems built for daily use across residential and hospitality settings.

Questions about outdoor glass.

Can glass walls be added to an existing pergola?

Yes. All four systems are designed to integrate with existing covered structures — louvered pergolas, patio covers, and fixed-roof structures — without requiring secondary framing. We assess the opening dimensions and structure during the consultation and specify the right system.

What is the difference between the four systems?

GLIDE panels slide horizontally on parallel tracks and stack to one end. ClearFOLD panels accordion-fold to the sides. ClearPIVOT panels slide then rotate 90° flat against the wall. Vertaslide panels raise and lower vertically with a motorized drive. The choice depends on your opening size, usage pattern, and whether you prefer the glass out of the way horizontally or vertically when open.

Are these systems weatherproof?

All systems include transparent weather seals rated at 75% clarity that resist wind-driven rain and minimize air infiltration. They are designed for outdoor use and maintain comfort in wind, rain, and variable temperatures. They are not thermally broken and are not intended as a substitute for interior glazing.

What glass is used?

10mm single-pane tempered safety glass. Tempered glass is four to five times stronger than standard float glass and, in the event of breakage, shatters into small blunt fragments rather than sharp shards.

Is the Vertaslide motorized?

Yes. Vertaslide uses a motorized drive system — panels raise and lower at the press of a single button. The other three systems (GLIDE, ClearFOLD, ClearPIVOT) are manually operated.

What finish options are available?

Aluminum framing is available in powder-coat or anodized finishes. Standard colors match the pergola collection palette — white, black, dark gray, and wood-grain tones. Custom colors are available for full-finish coordination across pergola, glass, and hardware.

Do glass walls require a permit?

In most jurisdictions, adding glass walls to an existing covered structure requires a building permit. We manage the permit process and can provide engineering documentation as part of the project package.

How long does installation take?

A standard glass wall installation on an existing pergola typically takes one to two days depending on the opening count and system type. Glass is ordered to size after the site is measured — lead time is typically 6–10 weeks from order.
