What is R-WEAVE?
R-WEAVE is a motorized retractable fabric pergola — an extruded aluminum frame with a high-tension waterproof canopy that extends and retracts on a motorized track. Think of it as a pergola and a retractable awning combined: the open structure of a pergola with the on-demand coverage of a retractable system.
How is R-WEAVE different from R-BLADE?
R-BLADE uses motorized aluminum louvers that tilt and rotate to control sunlight — when fully closed, they shed rain but always have some structure overhead. R-WEAVE uses a fabric canopy that extends and retracts fully — when retracted, there is nothing overhead at all. R-BLADE is the better choice for maximum durability, high winds, and heavy rain; R-WEAVE delivers a lighter aesthetic and true open-sky living.
Is it waterproof?
Yes, when the canopy is fully extended. The PVC + PC fabric is waterproof, and integrated drainage gutters channel water away from the space. R-WEAVE handles light to moderate rain comfortably. For heavy or sustained rain, R-BLADE (motorized louvers, aluminum-to-aluminum seal) offers a more robust rain barrier.
What sizes are available?
A single canopy zone goes up to 22'10" × 16'. Larger coverage areas are achieved with multi-zone configurations — multiple zones linked together and independently controlled.
Wall-mounted or free-standing?
Both, plus multi-zone layouts. Every R-WEAVE is engineered to your site — wall attachment, free-standing posts, or any combination.
What colors are available?
Frame colors: White, Black, Dark Gray, Wood Grain, Bronze, or custom RAL — selected at order time. Fabric comes in complementary colors to match the frame.
How is it controlled?
